Background Screening Request

Background Screening

CRCS policy requires a background check for anyone who desires to serve as a volunteer or chaperone. This is conducted by Praesidium, Inc. an independent, third party company licensed to conduct background screening services.  All screenings require a processing fee which can range between $15 and $60. The actual cost is dependent upon the extent of the check which is based upon an SSN trace and county court records. Depending upon the SSN trace and the specific state/county jurisdiction, fees above $60 are possible.

The ability to participate as a volunteer/chaperone is predicated on the successful completion of the check and remittance of the fee, the invoice for which will be sent upon the completion of the screening. This background check will be valid for three years.
