Admissions Procedures 2007-2008

To apply for the new school year commencing next fall (fall 2008-2009), go to this page.

  1. Complete and return the following forms in the packet: Application, Family Questionnaire, Academic Questionnaire and Emergency Care Information. These forms must be completed in full and signed before the registration process can continue.

  2. Get immunization records for your child. All new students must return immunization and physical examination records with their application papers. Students without proof of required immunizations or medical/religious exemptions cannot be permitted to enter Calvary Road Christian School until these items are secured. The county requires us to have this information on forms provided by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Copies are available in the school office per your request.
  3. If a custody situation is present and you wish us to follow specific directions concerning who can pick up your child on designated days, you must include the court order and a specific written request. If no written request and court order is enclosed we will allow the child to be removed by either parent or the emergency contacts (if parents cannot be reached) on any designated school day.
  4. Include a copy of your child's most recent report card and standardized achievement test results (grade 1-8 only).
  5. Bring in your child's original birth certificate for us to verify. (Do not make a copy.)
  6. After receiving your completed application (including previous records) we will begin to process it. Applicants selected for an interview and testing will be contacted by the school. Students who are tested must submit a $25.00 non-refundable testing fee on the test day. All application and testing information must be completed before an applicant can be considered for registration. Enrollment decisions will be based on test scores, answers to the Family Questionnaire, and application. Preferences will be given to students who have met the previous qualifications and whose parents are members of Calvary Road Baptist Church and/or already have siblings in our school.
